Our Stylist Says
The Rowlinson Ashdown wooden parasol offers a classic and versatile look that works well in both traditional and contemporary outdoor spaces. I love how its natural timber finish adds warmth and texture, making it a great focal point for garden seating areas, patios, or even cafe-style setups. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with rattan or wooden furniture for a cohesive, organic vibe-adding some cushions and throws in neutral tones or subtle patterns will enhance its inviting appeal. For practical tips, ensure it’s positioned to provide ample shade during the sun’s peak and consider pairing with a matching wooden side table for a functional yet stylish outdoor arrangement. Its size and style make it an adaptable choice that will inject a sense of timeless charm into your garden or outdoor lounge.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
