Description
The Amanita collection immerses us in the eccentric, provocative, funny and absurd world of Italian designer Marcantonio! This sculptor by training is a dreamer who succeeds thanks to a particular skill in turning his thoughts into physical form, letting us glimpse the flights of his fantasy and imagination. Amanita is a dining table and stool set that looks like it came straight out of an enchanted forest! These giant mushrooms populate our interiors in a surreal, ironic way, as if to remind us of the unbreakable link that exists between man and nature. Marcantonio: “I find truth in nature: animals, plants… Nature is always unequivocally right.'' Marcantonio explores how concepts such as man and nature, animal and plant, or nature and technology feed and interpenetrate each other.
