Price History
Description
All hammocks manufactured by Ross James Luxury Garden Furniture are 100% double layered cotton, providing you with a cool luxurious feeling whilst using the hammock. The cotton material has been designed to last for many years of use, unlike other brands that use inferior polyester. This can also be hand washed in cold water using a mild cleaning detergent, however, do not leave the cotton fabric to soak in the water for any period of time. Hand wash and immediately hang up to dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, please allow material to dry naturally. There are a choice of colours to choose from so there is sure to be a colour to suit your preference. The Frame is a strong, heavy duty all metal design, combined with the fabric can hold a massive 200. Kgs of weight whilst weighing just 13kgs making it easy to transport with the supplied carry bag.
Our Stylist Says
The Ross James hammock with its vibrant stripe pattern is a great addition for creating a relaxed, casual vibe in outdoor or conservatory spaces. I love how its bright yellow and blue stripes bring a cheerful touch, making it perfect for brightening up patios, garden corners, or sunrooms. Stylistically, it works well with bohemian, coastal, or eclectic interiors, especially when paired with natural textures like wicker, rattan, or timber furniture. Practical tips include keeping it in a protected outdoor spot or on a covered porch to prolong its lifespan, and adding a couple of colourful cushions for extra comfort and style. Its heavy-duty stand means no need for trees or wall fixings, making it easy to incorporate into various settings.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
