Description

Add warmth to your lighting with the Rosemary Large Burnt Orange Shade. The burnt orange hue infuses your space with a cosy and inviting ambience, while the large size creates a bold visual statement. This shade becomes a focal point that complements various interior styles with a fringe trim for textural interest.

Our Stylist Says

I love the burnt orange large shade because it adds a warm, vintage touch to any ceiling light setup. Its bold colour and playful fringe detail make it a statement piece that works particularly well in eclectic, boho, or retro interiors. For practical styling, it pairs beautifully with neutral wall tones or contrasting colours like deep blues or teals, allowing the shade to be the focal point. To enhance its impact, consider installing a dimmer switch, so you can control the ambience and highlight the rich orange hue. It's a versatile accessory that brings charm and character, especially in spaces seeking an inviting yet distinctive centrepiece.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
