Matching the printed fabric of the same name 'Rosehip' is inspired by the ceramic tile decorations attributed to either Morris or William De Morgan. De Morgan collaborated with Morris on designs for tiles and stained glass before he set up his own pottery. Much of De Morgan's early work shows a strong Morris influence both in the motifs he used and in an adherence to some of Morris' principles of pattern making. This wallpaper interpretation of the pattern cleverly resembles a tiled wall while the pretty motifs hand cut and printed from lino give an authentic block-printed look. Shown here in a indigo blue colourway. This wallpaper is part of the Archive III wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the wallpaper and then apply. Pattern match:Straight. Vertical repeat: 17.3cm.
I love the Rosehip wallpaper in blue from Morris & Co for its classic botanical print with a timeless appeal. It works particularly well in period-style interiors or in homes aiming for a vintage or traditional look, adding warmth and character to living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallway schemes. For styling, consider pairing it with soft, neutral furnishings to let the print stand out, or mix it with other vintage-inspired textiles and accessories for a cohesive feel. Because of its detailed pattern, it’s best used on feature walls rather than entire rooms, unless you want a bold statement. It’s a versatile choice that can bring a touch of craftsmanship and heritage to modern and classic settings alike.
