Our Stylist Says
The Romford 54 inch headboard in plush mustard velvet instantly adds warmth and a pop of colour to any bedroom, making it a great focal point. Its bold hue works particularly well in modern or eclectic interiors, and can complement both neutral palettes and richer tones. To style around it, consider pairing with crisp white or grey bedding for a clean look, or incorporate other mustard accents like cushions or throws for a cohesive scheme. The plush velvet finish also lends a touch of luxury without being overly formal, so it’s versatile enough to suit both contemporary and slightly vintage-inspired spaces. Practical tips include keeping the bedding and accessories simple to let the headboard stand out and ensure the fabric remains in good condition with regular gentle cleaning.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
