Description
The Rockcoco photo frame was designed by Studio Job (Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel). The Flemish couple work between the industrial world and the world of applied arts, creating projects, often as a limited edition, which combine the craft skills with an avant-garde, highly expressive language rich in symbols. The name and shape of this photo frame remind one of the origins of the classic rococo style born in France at the end of the 18th century. Rockcoco is reinterpreted here with an interplay of contemporary and original patterns, emblematic of the work of Studio Job: envelopes, trumpets, eyes, animals, etc. Quirky and current graphics, which provide this traditional photo frame with a serious face-lift.
