Description

Matilda's Melts Rapeseed and Coconut Wax Candles are hand-poured in small batches in Little Haywood in Staffordshire, using only the finest quality wax infused with a blend of premium fragrance oils. Our candles come in two sizes of jam jars AND ARE VEGAN FRIENDLY! A mesmerising floral marine scent where refreshing notes of seaweed and green algae lie in cool rock pools livened by a fresh coastal breeze and enhanced by touches of cyclamen and water lily. At the base of the fragrance, sparkling salt crusted driftwood is warmed by amber, patchouli and musk.

Our Stylist Says

I love this candle for its versatile and calming aesthetic; the white colour and subtle floral details make it a great addition to both contemporary and cosy interiors. It works particularly well on side tables, mantelpieces, or even as a decorative piece in a bathroom. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural textures like stone, wood, or linen to enhance its calming vibe. Practical tips include grouping it with other candles or small vases for a layered look or placing it in a well-lit area to showcase its elegance. The scent of salt and driftwood lends itself to beach-inspired or relaxed coastal themes, making it a lovely choice for creating a tranquil atmosphere.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
