Description
Our upholstered Rivas bedstead is inspired by the beds in the Marina and Corner bedrooms in Soho House Barcelona, where it's madeup with crisp white Frette bed linen and topped with a stripymonochrome throw. Velvet upholstered winged bedstead. Bedstead includes headboard, frame and slats. Mattress is not included and can be purchased separately. Hand made in the UK by skilled craftsmen. Inspired by the beds in the bedrooms at Soho House Barcelona.

I’m a fan of this lichen velvet bed for its rich, muted green that feels both modern and reassuringly classic. The gently curved, winged headboard adds just enough structure to anchor a room without dominating it, and the turned wooden feet keep the look grounded yet elegant.
It works particularly well in schemes ranging from mid-century modern to contemporary country, and it’s easy to layer with neutral linens, tactile cushions in soft greys or warm rust tones, and a lightweight wool throw. Pair with simple brass or black-metal bedside lamps, a natural-fibre rug and pale walls to let the bed remain the focal point while keeping the overall feel relaxed and cohesive.
