I’m a fan of the Riva ladder desk for its clean, space-saving silhouette and warm oak tone, which suits Scandi and contemporary schemes as well as more eclectic, layered interiors. The slim A-frame keeps a room feeling open, making it ideal for a compact home office or as a display shelf in a living area.
Styling tips: keep the desktop clear for working - tuck stationery into a neutral tray or small woven basket on a lower shelf. Mix books (spines facing out) with decorative objects like ceramic vases or a sculptural lamp, and introduce a trailing plant at the top to soften the lines. Match a few accents (picture frames or storage boxes) in complementary hues to tie the look together.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
