I’m a fan of this corner ladder shelf for its neat use of awkward corners and warm oak finish that suits Scandi, contemporary or relaxed farmhouse schemes. Its slim, tiered design means you can mix books, plants and small ceramics without it feeling cluttered.
Styling tip: balance taller items (vases or framed prints) on the top tiers with stacks of books and a trailing succulent lower down. Keep a consistent colour palette in your accessories to let the wood grain stand out, and leave a little negative space on each shelf for a clean, curated look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
