Description

Inject colour and comfort into your space with the Rita Wool Moroccan Shaggy rug. A playful twist on the popular Berber rug. Hand-tufted by rug artisans in India, the 100% wool composition adds softness to your space. Draw attention to your interiors and define your own statement space with this bold, bohemian design. As it is crafted from a natural fibre, some shedding is to be expected and is a sign that the rug is rich in natural wool. A bedding in time of a few months will allow the Rita Moroccan Wool Shaggy Rug to properly settle in and can be managed with a weekly vacuum, ideally with a suction type attachment, to remove any loose fibres. Don't forget to buy our handy anti-slip mat,. Here,. Available in a range of sizes. This is a dense hand-made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and regular vacuuming. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug for its cosy, textured look and versatile colour palette. The cream with blue and yellow accents makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from contemporary to boho. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms as a statement piece that adds warmth and personality. For practical styling tips, layer it over neutral flooring to help make the space feel inviting, and pair with cushions or throws that pick up the blue or yellow tones for a cohesive look. Due to its shaggy texture, it's best suited for low-traffic areas or spaces where it won't be heavily walked on, but it definitely brings a plush, inviting vibe to any room.
