The Rio Costa 1 drawer traditional bedside table in a stunning White, Dark Grey, Sonoma Oak or Beech finish. As with all the other items in the Rio Costa range, the drawer is accented with a chrome metal handle. The drawer opens up to reveal the perfect storage for all your bedside necessities, as well as even more storage underneath too in open storage space. The top surface will also accommodate a small lamp.

I’m a fan of this beech-effect bedside table because its clean lines and warm tone slot straight into Scandi, contemporary or even a more traditional scheme without feeling fussy. The single drawer keeps small items tucked away, while the open shelf is ideal for a neat stack of books or a woven basket to hide chargers and cables. Styling tip: pair it with a slim-profile lamp and a small plant or ceramic pot on top, then use the shelf for a neat pile of paperbacks or a textured storage box. Keep colour accents minimal - think muted greys or soft greens - to let the natural beech finish hold its own.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
