Description

Finished in an elegant soft Elephant Grey finish with a beautiful pale oak top, the Richmond Flip-Top Table is crafted from a combination of high-grade White Oak solids and veneers. This imposing dining table allows you to easily double your dining space by simply flipping the top over creating more space for when you have guests, and when you are done simply flip the top back over to save floor space when not in use. The combination of superior quality materials and classic design ensures a timeless appeal and fits perfectly alongside both traditional and contemporary decor. Part of the extensive Richmond Dining and Occasional furniture collection from Julian Bowen.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Richmond flip-top table for its smart combo of oak and soft-grey paint - it slots effortlessly into Scandi-inspired, modern farmhouse or coastal schemes. The flip-top design means you can tuck it away as a neat square when it’s just two of you, then extend it for extra guests without a bulky footprint. For styling, keep the look light with mixed-tone dining chairs (think linen fabrics or woven seats) and a simple runner so the wood can shine. Add a low vase of greenery or a couple of ceramic candle holders in muted hues to balance the natural oak and complement the elephant-grey legs.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
