The designers at Richmond always welcome a challenge, and with the Coley mirror they have hit upon a marvellously creative way to adapt the formal structure of traditional mirrors into something that manages to be bold and contemporary yet elegant and timeless. Instead of settling for a conventional rectangle, they have recreated that shape with a geometric configuration of fifteen individual circular mirrors. The MDF backing makes it lightweight, but the shining gold metal frames suggest a real sense of substance and luxury.
