Ideal for use in a kitchen diner or open plan living room, the Richmond oak wood table and chairs will add a touch of warmth to your home with its natural oak hue and beautiful Washington chairs. Perfect for accommodating last-minute meal time guests, this small oak dining table can seat up to 6 people when fully extended. Supported by chunky solid oak legs and measuring 90 x 90cm as standard, the Richmond oak dining table extends to a length of 150cm using two 30cm extension panels that pull out at each end of the table. When not in use, the extension leaves slide neatly back under the table top. The Richmond square oak extending dining table comes complete with 4 Yale ladder back oak dining chairs which feature medium-density padded seats and are upholstered in brown bonded leather. Traditional yet stylish these solid oak chairs complement the Richmond oak extending dining table beautifully with their curved back design. Our oak dining table sets are proudly handmade from solid oak wood. Each piece of timber goes through a lengthy process of seasoning and kiln drying until its ready to be crafted. Made using time-honored techniques the table features an inlaid groove to accommodate expansion in the wood and prevent bowing. The wood is finished using a clear lacquer to maintain the natural oak colour and enhance the appearance of the wood grain as well as providing a protective seal. Minimal home assembly is required to attach the legs to the tabletop using the bolts supplied.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
