I’m a big fan of this two-drawer coffee table for its blend of solid oak top and soft painted base - it brings warmth without feeling heavy. Its clean lines suit both modern farmhouse and coastal-inspired interiors, while the drawers keep remotes or coasters out of sight and the lower shelf works perfectly for baskets or a neat row of books. To style it, I’d group a slim metal tray with a candle and a small plant on one side, leaving the other half clear to keep the look light, and tuck a textured jute basket underneath for extra throws or magazines.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
