A lighthouse in the distance, as seen from sand dunes, by Richard Macneil. This print is presented in a wood-effect frame ready to hang on your wall. Richard Macneil is a self-taught artist who has worked in the fields of sculpture, ceramics and graphics both in the UK and internationally. He founded the Macneil Studio in 2009 with his wife and sons. He spent a long time working in the USA and one of his greatest achievements was seeing his artwork in the Oval Office in The White House. Returning to Worcestershire, England, where he was born and bred, Richard has worked on developing his unique style with a vision to create 'art that appeals to and is accessible to all'. Have you thought about hooks and fittings?
The lighthouse view print is a versatile piece that adds a calming coastal touch to any space. I love how the blue and multi tones bring a fresh, seaside feel, making it suitable for casual living rooms, beach-inspired bedrooms, or even a breezy hallway. To create a cohesive look, pair it with natural materials like linen or rattan, or complement it with other maritime-themed accessories. Practical styling tips include placing it above a console table with a few simple accessories, or grouping it with other smaller prints for a gallery wall. Its neutral yet uplifting palette ensures it works well in both contemporary and traditional settings.
