This striking piece is pure Rockett St George! The ribbed wood detailing turns what could easily be a ‘just another’ sideboard into a talking point that’s bursting with personality. A quirky and eclectic addition to any home, this is crafted from reeded mango wood, and features gold detailing on the top of the unit that’s overlaid by black mango wood that allows a hint of glamour to peep through for a subtle accent of colour. It’s a three-door piece, with one double-door opening and one single, and the unit is spacious enough to comfortably fit magazines, books, coasters and board games so that all your living room essentials can be neatly stored away. Slim black legs with gold detailing echo the gold underlay on top of the unit for a pleasing symmetry, while the piece is finished beautifully with finely-crafted black bamboo-style handles. Back in 2007, on a not-so-sunny Lanzarote vacation, Lucy and Jane had a bright idea by the pool. Both loved old markets and changing up their homes, so they thought, "Why not create an online store for unique home items?"
With Jane's skills in PR and photos and Lucy knowing all about selling, they started Rockett St George. They purchased a 'Website for Dummies' book, pooled their savings, and voilà - Rockett St George was launched!
