Description

Get an elegant lighting style for the outside of your home with the Rhys Box Frame Outdoor Wall Light. This lantern is IP44 rated to ensure water resistance against outdoor weather conditions and is finished in black for a modern appearance. It also has gorgeous frosted glass panels which diffuse a soft glow outwards.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its sleek and modern design that works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional outdoor settings. The black finish gives it a versatile, understated look that pairs well with a variety of colour palettes and materials, like timber, brick or stone. It's perfect for framing entrances, patios or garden pathways, adding both style and practicality. For styling tips, consider mounting it at eye level near doorways or along garden walls to create a welcoming and safe atmosphere in the evenings. Pairing it with other outdoor lighting elements, such as lanterns or string lights, can help establish a layered, inviting outdoor space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
