Our Stylist Says

This black ceiling fan with remote control is a practical addition for a variety of interiors, especially those with industrial, modern, or minimalist elements. I love its versatility - it works well in both contemporary living spaces and more traditional rooms when paired with the right accents. Its reversible feature makes it a clever choice for different seasons, offering both cooling and warmth. When styling with this fan, consider keeping the surrounding palette neutral or monochrome to allow the fan to act as a statement piece, or pair it with warm wooden tones for a more inviting feel. Practical tips include placing it in rooms with high ceilings to optimise airflow and ensuring the remote is conveniently located for everyday use. This fan combines functionality with a sleek, understated aesthetic that won't overpower your décor.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
