Description

The Rendola Brown Leather Armchair brings timeless style and exceptional comfort to any modern home. Crafted with high-quality leather and detailed stitching, it offers durability and a refined finish that enhances its classic silhouette. The generously padded seat, supportive backrest, and rolled arms create a cosy, inviting feel perfect for everyday relaxation. Its warm brown leather tone pairs beautifully with contemporary, rustic, or traditional interiors. Designed for lasting comfort and visual appeal, this armchair is ideal for living rooms, studies, and reading corners, offering a luxurious seating experience with long-term resilience and effortless sophistication.

Our Stylist Says

The Rendola armchair is a classic piece that works particularly well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, thanks to its rich brown leather finish, which adds warmth and a touch of sophisticated comfort. I love how its plush, inviting design makes it a practical choice for cosy reading corners or living rooms. For styling, combine with textured throws and cushions in neutral or muted tones to complement the leather, or pair with darker woods and metallic accents for a modern edge. Its versatile look allows it to sit comfortably alongside other leather pieces or more neutral fabric sofas, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. Keep the placement practical - near a side table for drinks or next to a window for extra lounging comfort - to maximise its functionality.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
