Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this rose-velvet armchair for the way its soft, muted pink works as a neutral with a twist - you get warmth without overwhelming a scheme. The velvet finish catches the light, so it feels both cosy and a little bit luxe. It sits nicely in Scandi-inspired living rooms alongside pale woods and off-whites, but you can just as easily drop it into a contemporary lounge with charcoal greys and brass accents. For balance, pair it with a simple knitted throw or a cushion in a contrasting texture - linen or boucle - to break up the sheen. It also gives a pretty counterpoint against deep-toned rugs or dark timber floors.
