Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this navy velvet armchair for its deep, sophisticated hue and soft cotton‐velvet finish - it immediately adds a touch of luxury without feeling fussy. Its clean lines and compact profile sit equally well in a period drawing room or a more pared-back, contemporary living space. For styling, drape a contrasting wool or linen throw over one arm, nestle it beside a warm‐wood side table and a slender brass or matte-black floor lamp, and introduce a textured cushion in a neutral or jewel tone to break up the surface. Keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve the pile and give it a quick vacuum every now and then to maintain that plush appearance.
