The Reflection floor lamp was developed with the aim of creating an elegant, simple, timeless piece which would embrace and emphasise the essential characteristics of a lamp, namely light and shadow. Danish designer Asger Risborg Jakobsen has therefore separated two elements that are usually united: the light source and the lampshade to highlight them and create a play of shadows and reflection. The LED module is integrated into a ring-shaped diffuser which is placed at the top of the base, under the lampshade. A button on the diffuser ring lets you vary the light intensity. The Reflection floor lamp diffuses a soft light around it. During the creation process, Danish designer and medical student Asger Risborg Jakobsen always tries to reduce his ideas to the essential: function, beauty, character and fine craftsmanship. He seeks the essence of the object to create enduring designs that reflect the beauty of the world of which they form part.
