Description

In collaboration with the Natural History Museum. This colourful coral reef printed roller blind design is part of our Natural History Museum collection. The blackout roller blind features brightly coloured coral reef fish swimming amongst sea urchins, starfish and beautiful coral, all set against a rich dark background colour. Crafted from 100% recycled polyester, the added moisture and mildew resistant finish makes this roller blind perfect for kitchens and bathrooms, whilst the blackout finish prevents unwanted light from entering your home and provides improved privacy. This roller blind is available in a selection of sizes and is supplied with all fixings included. Check out other coordinating items from the NHM Reef collection. Please note: The width stated is for the fabric only, please allow an extra 3. 2cm for the brackets and mechanism. Always check specific fitting instructions and check measurements for your blind once purchased before cutting to size. Please note that blinds cannot be returned once altered. Natural History Museum x Dunelm. Tropical coral reefs are remarkable places. Vitally important ecosystems for underwater life, they offer food and shelter to fishes, molluscs, sea urchins and more. In addition, they help to protect coastlines by reducing the power of the waves hitting beaches, they offer protection from threats such as tsunamis, and they also provide food for millions of people. Coral reefs are packed full of life. From tropical fish and sea turtles to octopuses and sponges, did you know that despite taking up only 1% of the ocean, 25% of all underwater species call the reef home at some point? And yet, these stunning habitats are exposed to a broad range of human impacts on both local and global scales including plastic pollution, overfishing and coastal development. Through our collection with the Natural History Museum, we want to shine a light on these incredible underwater treasure troves and highlight the urgent need to protect them from further decline. © The Trustees of the Natural History Museum, London 2023. Our Stylist Says

I love the Reef Teal blind for its vibrant, multi-coloured pattern that adds a lively focal point to any room. It works particularly well in eclectic, contemporary, or boho-inspired interiors where bold pops of colour are embraced. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral walls and minimalist furniture to let the blind stand out, or complement it with other colourful accessories for a cohesive look. Practical tips include choosing a blackout version like this for bedrooms to optimise light control and privacy, while also creating a striking design feature that’s both fun and functional.
