Description

Offer a vibrant pop of colour to your lighting arrangements with this Polished Nickel Fitting with Red Twisted Cable. This height adjustable lighting accessory offers a stylish revamp to your set up and is the ideal replacement for standard white ceiling cables in your home. Partner this fitting with one of our vintage filament light bulbs (notincluded) for an industrial appearance to your home decor.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Red Twisted Cable Kit for its modern yet industrial appeal, making it a stylish alternative to traditional pendant wiring. The polished nickel finish adds a sleek touch that works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, but can also provide an interesting contrast in more eclectic spaces. It’s a versatile choice that allows you to hang statement pendant lights or cluster smaller lamps for a customised look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with exposed filament bulbs for a warm, inviting glow or mixing it with matte or coloured shades to add personality. Because of its striking red twist, it’s especially suited to rooms where you want a pop of colour or a focal point, like kitchens, dining areas, or loft-style living spaces.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
