Price History
Description
This porcelain lamp is a relatively understated floral and foliage design. The art work has been painted with metallic gold to bring the design to life, oozing opulence against the vermilion red background. Red is the national colour of China and gold and red is widely used in weddings and festivals representing success, luck and happiness. The antique metal stand completes the style.
Our Stylist Says
I love this red and gold ceramic lamp for its bold colour and elegant design-it's a perfect statement piece. Its vibrant hue can bring warmth and richness to eclectic or traditional interiors, while also adding a pop of colour in more neutral, contemporary spaces. The plain shade keeps it versatile, working well in living rooms, bedrooms, or statement side tables. For styling tips, try pairing it with textured cushions or a contrasting lampshade in a neutral or complementary colour to soften its vibrancy. It’s also worth placing it on a dark wooden or glass surface to enhance its colour vibrancy and create a striking visual contrast.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
