I really like this reclaimed boat-wood TV console for its lived-in texture and sturdy metal hinges - it brings instant character without feeling overdone. It sits beautifully in coastal, industrial or relaxed farmhouse schemes, especially when you balance its warm, multicoloured planks with neutral walls and natural linens.
Practically, the two side doors hide less-attractive kit while the three central shelves keep your AV kit organised. To style, keep the top surface uncluttered: a low-profile lamp or a sculptural vase on one side and a small stack of books with a simple plant on the other works well. Inside the compartments, use matching baskets to corral cables and remotes for a neat finish.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
