Premiered at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2015, the characterful Kaari Storage Collection was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Finnish design company Artek and is comprised of simple yet intelligent coat hooks and shelves, both freestanding and wall-mounted. Accented with a selection of lacquers and linoleums, the Kaari Storage Selection is a versatile range, offering single decorative wall shelves or vast storage concepts, making it perfect for everywhere from compact workspaces to roomy living areas. Crafted using natural oak and protective varnish, melamine and powder-coated surfaces, each piece in the Kaari Storage Collection offers longevity and quality, having been crafted to Artek’s incomparable standards. Within this collection is the striking Wall Shelf with a Fenix finish; exclusively available at The Conran Shop, Fenix is an innovative nanotech matte material that lends a fingerprint-free, soft touch effect. Designed by brothers and creative duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Kaari Storage Collection showcases the pair’s distinctive style while upholding an affinity with Artek’s traditions, carving out a truly unique aesthetic. Founded in 1935 by Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen, and Nils-Gustav Hahl, Artek introduced a new kind of every-day life environment, and today is renowned as one of the world’s biggest name in interior design.
