Description

Designed by Carlo Mollino, this Reale table in a natural dyed oak finish with a glass top is a timeless design that fits seamlessly into a contemporary landscape. The Reale table was originally conceptualised in 1946 and remains an emblem of the designer's aptitude for achieving function using an eccentric, complex silhouette. Reissued by Zanotta, Reale is a juxtaposition of honest materials, with a five inch bevelled glass top resting on slender lines of natural dyed oak, all held together by a series of intricate joints in strong, perfectly-balanced suspension. This timeless twentieth-century design is starkly contemporary and demonstrates Mollino's undeniable foresight into the future of design.

Our Stylist Says

The Reale dining table combines a sleek glass top with a warm oak base, making it a versatile piece that can work across a range of interiors from contemporary to Scandi-inspired. I love how the glass adds lightness and openness, perfect for smaller spaces or creating a more airy feel. The oak legs introduce natural texture and warmth, balancing modernity with a tactile element. For styling tips, consider pairing it with minimalist chairs for a clean look, or add textured textiles and colourful accessories to soften the overall aesthetic. It's practical too - the glass surface is easy to wipe clean, making it a great choice for family homes or those who love hosting dinners.
