Our Stylist Says
I love the lilac velvet bed frame for bringing a soft, inviting focal point to both contemporary and classic interiors. Its upholstered, tv-bed design offers multifunctionality and comfort, making it ideal for bedrooms that aim for both style and practicality. The Dumfries fabric adds a subtle richness without overwhelming, and the soft velvet texture brings a touch of luxury. To style around it, consider pairing with neutral-toned bedding or layered with cushions in complementary shades like muted greys, blush, or metallics to enhance its elegance. This bed works particularly well in modern, boutique, or even eclectic spaces where colour and texture are key. Practical tips include keeping the surrounding decor clean and understated to let the velvet texture shine, and adding soft lighting or cosy throws for extra warmth and comfort.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
