I’m a fan of the green velvet Raul bed thanks to its softly sloping, button-tufted headboard and rich fabric, which instantly elevates a bedroom without feeling over the top. It sits comfortably in mid-century or contemporary schemes, but also brings depth to a Scandi-inspired look when paired with pale woods and simple linens.
For styling, keep bedding in neutral tones - cream, stone or pale grey - and introduce brass or matt black bedside lamps to echo the bed’s slender legs. A low-pile rug in natural fibres will ground the frame, while a pair of minimal floating shelves or a single oversized print above the headboard keeps the focus on that elegant curve.
