Description

A modern take on a 70s classic, this sideboard features metal hairpin legs and an intricately handwoven rattan detailing that adds to its character. All in a hand rubbed finish making each piece completely unique. H89 x W81 x D40. 5cm. Made of mango wood. Whitewashed finish. Handwoven rattan front. Brass finished handles. Features two doors and two shelves. Due to the handmade nature of this product, size, colour and pattern may vary. To avoid watermarks and heat damage, do not place items such as ceramics, tableware or glassware directly onto the surface of any of our furniture without the protection of a heat resistant mat, coaster and/or trivet as this could mark the surface.

Our Stylist Says

The rattan two door sideboard is a stylish yet practical piece that adds warmth and texture to a variety of interiors. I love how its natural rattan detail enhances both contemporary and rustic settings, making it versatile for living rooms, dining areas, or even hallways. When styling, consider pairing with minimalistic accessories to keep the look clean, or layer with some plants and ceramics for a cosy vibe. Its ample storage makes it functional for organising dining ware, linens, or everyday essentials, while its light tone helps brighten a space. This piece works well in interiors that embrace natural materials or a boho aesthetic, but it can also bring a softer touch to more modern schemes.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
