Description

The Rattan Tall Dome Shade in a Natural tone has a gorgeous, bohemian look that works well in any modern décor to create a scandi vibe. This light shade is an ideal addition to your interior lighting arrangements, with a natural finish that compliments the warm light perfectly as it projects a gorgeous pattern throughout your room. The tall dome design is a modern, contemporary shape that fits well among any décor.

Our Stylist Says

I love the rattan dome shade for its natural, textured look that adds warmth and a relaxed vibe to any space. It works particularly well in interiors with a boho, coastal, or Scandi aesthetic, where natural materials are key. In practical style terms, pairing it with vintage or filament bulbs creates an inviting glow, making it ideal for living rooms, kitchens, or bedrooms. To style it effectively, consider hanging it at varying heights in different zones of open-plan spaces or combining it with other rattan or woven accessories for a cohesive look. Its neutral tone also makes it a versatile choice that can easily complement both light and dark colour palettes.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
