Description
Relax in style with the unique RAR Plastic Armchair by Charles and Ray Eames, a classic design featuring poppy red dyed-through polypropylene, the iconic chrome wire base and golden maple wood runners. Designed in 1950, this RAR chair is a variation of the signature Eames DSR chair, with the addition of maple runners to replicate the traditional delights of a rocker. The traditional rocking chair is an enduring symbol of relaxation, reinterpreted and manufactured by Vitra to reflect the famous Eames style. Originally crafted in the materials of mid-century modernism, the current edition is crafted from a dyed-through polypropylene shell and the iconic Eifel base in chrome wire, on golden maple runners. Printed with the signatures of the designers as a sign of authenticity, Vitra continues to manufacture the Eames RAR Chair to the highest quality, maintaining the superior comfort and prestigious design that Charles and Ray Eames originally created.
