I’m a big fan of this oak-shelved TV unit framed in slim black metal - it feels both light and sturdy, so it slots just as neatly into a Scandi-inspired lounge as it does a more industrial scheme. The open compartments give you room to stash media boxes or style with matching baskets, while the clear top keeps the look uncluttered and lets your soundbar or console sit front-and-centre without blocking your view.
Styling-wise, keep accessories low and in threes: a couple of small plants, a neat stack of coffee-table books and a favourite ornament will draw the eye while leaving plenty of breathing space. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
