Description

Designed by Gio Ponti, the Randaccio Mirror presents an original 1925 design, brought to life by Copenhagen-based GUBI. Conceived for his own home in Milan, the Randaccio Mirror is named after the abode and was situated in Ponti's bedroom. Uniting elegance with simplicity, the form is characterised by a crowning detail at the top of the antique brass frame, referencing the time period. A master in Italian architecture, Gio Ponti is renowned across the world for his epic contribution to the world of design. Founder of the architecture and design magazine Domus, Ponti also helped to create the prestigious Compasso d'Oro design award and was a strong supporter of the Triennale di Milano.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Randaccio Mirror for its understated elegance and versatility. Its minimalist round design pairs well with both contemporary and vintage interiors, making it a great addition to hallway walls, bedrooms, or bathrooms. The 42cm size is ideal for adding a touch of practicality without overwhelming a space, and I recommend hanging it above a console table or dresser for functional styling. To enhance its appeal, consider grouping it with smaller wall art or mirrors to create a focal point, or use it to reflect natural light and brighten up darker corners. Its clean lines and subtle metallic finish make it adaptable across various colour schemes, adding a sophisticated touch wherever it’s placed.
