I’m a fan of the Raithwaite oak bed for its solid, clean-lined slatted headboard and warm oak finish - it feels both robust and unfussy. It sits neatly in Scandi, modern farmhouse or coastal-inspired bedrooms, where natural textures and a pared-back palette are key.
For styling, keep bedding crisp in whites or soft greys, then layer one or two muted-tone cushions and a chunky knit throw to add depth. Place matching oak or matt-black bedside tables and simple brass lamps either side. A jute rug underfoot and a couple of potted plants complete the look, reinforcing the bed’s natural charm without overcomplicating the space.
