Our Stylist Says
I really like the hot air balloon light for adding a playful yet colourful touch to outdoor spaces. It works especially well in garden patios or terraces that embrace a whimsical or eclectic style, but can also be a fun feature in more understated setups to inject a bit of vibrancy. Practical styling tips include hanging it amidst greenery or alongside lanterns to create a lively, inviting atmosphere after dark. Its rainbow colours make it versatile for festive gatherings too, and pairing it with neutral furniture can help the colours pop without overwhelming the space. Overall, it’s a charming statement piece that combines functionality with a touch of fun.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
