The iconic Radieuse wall lamp reinvents itself thanks to the addition of a black checkered canvas. A play of colours and shapes that dresses a wall with sophistication while illuminating it with delicacy. It was during a stroll through the heart of Marseille that Sarah Lavoine discovered the radiant city of "Le Corbusier". This vertical village nicknamed "La maison du Fada" was built in the 50s. Moved by this singular vision of architecture, Sarah was inspired to recreate this in light form, with a colourful, innovative, accessible design. The "Radieuse" collection was born. Covered with cotton percaline, the metal structure is open at top and bottom, diffusing both direct and indirect lighting. PLEASE NOTE: The price includes only a lampshade to fix to the wall (attaches to the wall using a metal bar located at the back of the lampshade). The electrical system and socket are not supplied (you can buy them separately in a DIY store).
I love this wall light for its understated yet bold design, making it a versatile piece that can work well in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. Its cotton and black colourway adds a touch of softness while remaining sophisticated, perfect for creating ambient lighting without overpowering a space. It’s ideal for use in living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways where layered lighting is key. For styling, consider pairing it with minimalistic furniture or modern materials like metal and glass to highlight the clean lines. Since it’s not electrified, it’s best suited for use with a lamp holder or as a decorative accent rather than purely functional lighting, offering a stylish way to add texture and visual interest to your walls.
