Description
Inspired by the shape of a racket, this wall mirror is handcrafted from solid oak, curved and steam-bent. A complex technique that makes each mirror absolutely unique and gives it an expression that’s both organic, elegant and fun. The wood is FSC-certified. Designer Oliver Schick was born in the small German town of Darmstadt. A town whose cultural and artistic heritage has become a living source of inspiration for his creations. In his projects, small modifications and unforeseen details reinforce the lively aspect. His objective is to create products whose timeless character is easy to understand and decode. The designer article must be easy to use and the idea easily communicated to the user without being trivial or lacking identity. In his mind, a good design creation should tell a story and not just meet a need. That’s why it’s important to achieve a good balance between the practical use of the item and the story it communicates so well.
