I’m a fan of this Quendale shoe storage unit because its slim oak frame with white-gloss fronts keeps a hallway feeling light and uncluttered while still holding up to 12 pairs of shoes in three tilting compartments plus extra shelving behind the side door. It works particularly well in modern, Scandinavian or minimalist schemes where clean lines and neutral tones rule.
For styling, use the top surface as a drop zone: a slim tray for keys, a small mirror-backed dish for loose change and a simple vase or low planter for a touch of green. Inside, group shoes by season or type in woven baskets to maintain order, and line the bottom with a washable mat to catch any mud or debris.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
