Striking and contemporary, Queen's Quarter is an opulent geometric wallpaper, taken from a small detail within a much larger scheme of Verrio murals. Its irregular octagons appear as corner vignettes within the Queen's Drawing Room at Hampton Court Palace, the decoration of which was commissioned by Queen Anne as a grand statement of her royal majesty and imperial power. The murals as a whole were designed to create the illusion of a marble hall open to the sky, with the walls painted to look like tapestries with wide floral borders and gold fringes. However, it is Queen's Quarter's burnished metallic that struck the Cole & Son creative team, its understated repeat and elegant detail revealing a hidden gem within the much larger traditional scheme. Displayed here in shades of green and gold. Use the Queens Quarter in a bedroom, office space, living room or dining room, or perhaps use to paper an entire staircase or hallway. The Queens Quarter wallpaper is part of the Cole & Son Histori
I love the Queens Quarter wallpaper for its subtle yet interesting geometric pattern, which adds texture without overwhelming a space. It works particularly well in neutral or monochrome interiors, lending a sophisticated backdrop perfect for layered styling. This peel-and-stick design is versatile - it can be a feature wall in living rooms or bedrooms, or even used in hallways to create a statement. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist furniture and metallic accents to highlight its modern elegance, or using it alongside softer textiles for a cosy, balanced look. Its understated palette makes it adaptable across various interior schemes, adding visual interest while maintaining a calm, polished environment.
