Description

The striking Qandil Candle Holder from memòri is a product of exceptional local talent, creating a considered living room display. Handcrafted in the Rif region of Morocco, the ornament is shaped with local clay and decorated with natural pigments using a goat hair brush. An ode to remarkable traditions and craftsmanship anchored in a particular territory, memòri upholds the legacy of traditional crafts and artisanship; particularly that which may have been lost or forgotten. memòri says: The ceramics are not glazed. We advise you to keep it as a decorative object if you want to conserve the original aspect. Please note that our pieces are not food safe.

Our Stylist Says

This candle holder is a fantastic piece to add a touch of artistic flair and cultural interest to various interiors. I love how its handcrafted design and bold patterns make it a statement piece, perfect for both modern and eclectic spaces. It works well on a console table, mantel, or as a centrepiece on a dining table, especially when paired with simple styling to let its unique character shine. For practical tips, consider using it with tall, slim candles to highlight its shape, or position it among textured textiles and natural materials like wood and ceramics for a curated, cosy look. Its distinctive aesthetic makes it ideal for adding personality without overwhelming the overall decor.
