Description
The Pyramid table and bench are icons of vintage and industrial design. This furniture was designed in 1959 by Wim Rietveld. The son of the great designer and architect Gerrit Rietveld, he is considered one of the greatest Dutch designers of his generation. He wanted to design a rational and minimalist furniture. The Pyramid bench is super solid, light and practical. It combines an oak seat with a folded steel structure. The metalwork is reminiscent of Jean Prouvé's work. Bench looks so simple and that is precisely its strength. Nothing is superfluous. When you keep only the essential, the essence remains: A functional and timeless design.
