Originally a fabric designed by Morris in 1883 Pure Strawberry Thief was first indigo discharge printed at Merton Abbey. Translated onto wallpaper for the first time in 2013 for this collection it has been re-painted in one colour at the same time retaining the exquisite detail of the multi-coloured original. Featuring a shimmering contemporary flock effect in a silver grey and stone beige colourway. This wallpaper is part of the Morris Pure wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the paper and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match:Straight match. vertical pattern repeat: 64cm.
I love the Pure Strawberry Thief wallpaper for its subtle taupe and silver tones, which make it versatile for a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in traditional or period settings where you want to add depth and interest without overpowering the space. For a balanced look, pair it with neutral furnishings and soft lighting to highlight the intricate pattern. Practical styling tips include using it as an accent feature on a single wall or in a small space to create a focal point. Its understated elegance makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways, adding a touch of classic charm with a contemporary twist.
