Description

Spikenard is a perfect mixture of herbs such as white and red Sandalwood, Sungandhi Bal, Clove, Cardamom, and Spikenard, all extracted from plants of the high Himalayan region. It is lit at temples, drawing rooms, and stupas to create an aromatic ambience. Our Incense Ropes are made of herbs found in the high Himalayas. They are used in stupas, temples, and drawing rooms to create an aromatic ambience. Incense ropes are made by hand in a process that involves bundling the ingredients in special hand-prepared rice paper, then rolling and twisting it into a small rope-like braided form. The rope should be burnt in a marble or metal dish, or on an ash bed, a special incense burner. This type of incense produces a substantial amount of smoke, which can quickly overpower a small room, so use sparingly. The burning time for one rope is approximately 15 minutes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rope incense for its sleek, black finish, which adds a modern touch to any interior. It works particularly well in minimalist or contemporary spaces, where its understated elegance can be highlighted on open mantels or styled within a simple tray alongside other monochrome accessories. For practical styling, I recommend pairing it with natural elements like wooden or ceramic holders to enhance its earthy appeal. Its layered, rope design lends itself well to boho or eclectic interiors too-just place it among textured textiles or greenery for a relaxed, curated effect. Keep it within reach for a subtle aromatic accent that complements a calm, mindful atmosphere.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
