One of the earliest and most well loved of William Morris’s designs Pure Fruit (1864) has been carefully reworked by Morris & Co. as a wallpaper. With the design elements simplified respaced and refined the beautiful opaque and chalky quality of the inks used enhance the character of the original document. Shown here in a grey and blue colourway. This wallpaper is part of the Pure Morris North wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the wallpaper and then apply. Pattern match:Straight. Vertical repeat: 64cm. This wallpaper is a wide-width wallpaper and you will require less rolls than a standard width wallpaper to decorate your room.
This is a lovely choice for adding a touch of soft colour and pattern without overwhelming a space. I love the muted grey blue palette which makes it versatile for many interior styles, from traditional to contemporary. The fruit motif adds a gentle, natural charm that works particularly well in kitchens, breakfast rooms, or even relaxed living areas. Pair it with neutral furniture and simple accessories to let the wallpaper shine, and consider using complementary soft textiles like linen or cotton to enhance the relaxed vibe. Practical styling tip: since the pattern is subtle, using this as an accent wall can really elevate a room without feeling too busy. It’s an excellent way to introduce a cosy, inviting atmosphere with a touch of timeless botanical appeal.
