Winners of the Muuto Talents Award in 2010, the designers from the Whatswhat studio have created an astonishing, poetic floor lamp which places the theme of deconstruction at the heart of its aesthetic. As such, Pull has a lampshade which is held at its base only by the black fabric cable. From this apparent fragility emerges emotion, which gives this lamp an ethereal beauty. Atypical and charismatic, the Pull floor lamp challenges us with its harmonious combination of materials: painted solid oak for the structure, plastic covered with fabric for the lampshade and an elegant fabric electrical cable. The lampshade is adjustable in height. The high-quality Pull Lamp floor lamp is hand-crafted in Denmark. The wooden parts are turned by hand.
I really like this floor lamp because of its clean, minimalist design and functional appeal. Its adjustable shade makes it versatile, perfect for task lighting in a reading nook or to highlight specific areas in a living room. It works exceptionally well in contemporary and scandinavian interiors thanks to its understated grey tone and handcrafted feel. For styling tips, position it next to a cosy armchair or sofa, where its adaptive shade can provide direct light for reading or working. To keep the look cohesive, pair it with other subtle, sculptural decor pieces, and don’t be afraid to leave the cord visible - it adds an industrial touch that complements its sleek lines.
